Lesley Leighton began
choral arranging and composing very
recently when discovering how much she
enjoyed it while taking her first
choral arranging class with Morten
Lauridsen at USC as part of her
docotral coursework. Encouraged by her
teacher, Leighton has completed a
couple of arrangements and one
composition under Lauridsen's guidance.
The first, Black is the Color of My
True Love's Hair is due to be published
under the Paul Salamunovich series with
Alliance publications. The set of three
French songs are pending publication
with Walton Music. In the menu on the
right, you can access sample pages of
the scores in addition to mp3
recordings of some of the pieces. If
