two decades, Leighton is currently
the Associate Conductor of the
Los Angeles Master
Chorale;
Artistic Director of Los Robles Master
Chorale, Music
Director of New
West Symphony Chorus; and a DMA
candiate (all but dissertation) at
the University of Southern
California Thornton
School of Music.
-
- A sought-after
soloist in the Southern Calfornia
region, appearing many times with
the Los Angeles Opera, LA
Philharmonic and Los Angeles Maseter
Chorale, Leighton has also sung with
New York City Opera, Covent Garden,
Köln Opera, Sandjeford Symphony
(Norway) and Paris Opera. Leighton
has also begun working as a choral

over the past two years working for
the Los Angeles Unified School

Angeles Master Chorale at the London
Bridges concert; Leighton
guest-conducted the Mozart

her New West Symphony Chorus (the
resident chorus for New West
Symphony) debuted with
Carmina
Burana with New West

-
- A student of
Morten
Lauridsen's in choral
composition and arranging, Leighton
has written several octavos for
